Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Tsinghua University scholarships, students must first be admitted to the university. In addition, students must meet certain academic criteria, including a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to service. Master’s degrees are required for Ph.D. applicants, while Bachelor’s degrees are required for Master’s applicants. Furthermore, a student must submit academic transcripts, proof of Chinese or English proficiency, a personal statement, SAT or ACT results, 2 recommendation letters, and a copy of a valid passport. Finally, students must be able to afford to pay the remainder of their tuition costs not covered by the scholarship.
